The work
What a Day Doing This Actually Looks Like
Not the highlight reel. The actual hours.
60–90minutes a day, realistically

The honest breakdown
| Task | Time | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Making the thing | 20–40 min | Script, record, cut. Tooling helps most here. |
| Posting and captions | 10 min | Mechanical |
| Replying | 20–30 min | The part that actually earns |
| Looking at numbers | 5 min | Weekly is enough. Daily is procrastination. |
The surprise
Most of the productive time is replying, not producing. The content starts conversations; the conversations make money. People who treat this as a content job rather than a conversation job plateau early and cannot work out why.
What it is not
It is not passive. It is not four hours a week. It is a modest daily obligation that compounds — closer to going to the gym than to buying a lottery ticket, and it fails for the same reasons the gym does.
