Getting started
What You Actually Need to Start
Shorter than you think, and most of the shopping list is optional.
| Item | Necessity | Note |
|---|---|---|
| A niche you can sustain | Essential | How to pick one |
| An offer worth promoting | Essential | Why this dominates everything |
| A way to make content quickly | Essential | Friction is what stops people |
| A phone | Essential | Genuinely enough |
| Automation for replies | Important at volume | Not on day one |
| A website | Useful, not required | Matters once you want to own the audience |
| An email list | Later | An amplifier, not a prerequisite |
| An ad budget | Not needed | For organic, none at all |
What you do not need
A logo. A company. A perfect niche. A camera. Followers. Any of the things people spend their first month on instead of posting.
The most expensive thing on this list is not money, it is the time between having an idea and having it posted. Everything that shortens that gap is worth paying for; everything that lengthens it is worth skipping.
